It's a useful digestive aid, soothing to the stomach and it blends beautifully with carminative spices and offers a blast of thriving probiotics specially adapted to the environment you share. During this class we'll learn how to embrace the controlled chaos that is fermentation, learn the few things you need to be careful of, and the infinite culinary possibilities offered by this nourishing traditional foodway.
Instructor: Heather Dunn. After a lifetime of rotting food accidentally, Heather began intentionally fermenting her food six years ago. She has shared her living space with dozens of batches of sauerkraut, thriving colonies of kombucha, wild fermented meads and wines and, once, some oyster mushrooms on coffee grounds.
